Memorabilia
I first met Larry when he was with Rhinegold. When Wayne Fromm asked me to be part of a benefit (please see article above), he asked me to call anyone I knew that might be a draw. I called Larry and he said 'If I can possibly make it, I will be there'. Larry was great... he talked to everyone, signed autographs and posed for pictures. Somewhere out there in old photo albums or shoe boxes in attics, people will have a picture of themselves with Larry from 1987. Walt Grealis, the publisher of RPM, once said Larry was 'the nicest person in rock and roll'. I can only agree. Bob Walker |
